...is the perfect dress.

So the festive period is finally upon us, I’m not going to lie but the last few weeks I’ve been well and truly down in the dumps. Whoever said working in a public sector job is a guaranteed job for life should be shot. Basically I have to reapply for my job at a lower salary in March. Anyway I’ve put that to the back of my mind until after my birthday in January and then I’ll decide what I want to do. I think I may have earned the name tiny tears at work due to me being in tears 4 times in the last week haha (what an achievement).

Anyway this Friday it’s my office Christmas do and as always I’m hating what is currently in the shops, and generally getting into a right flap about what to wear. I did buy this dress, and then it got returned as I decided I hated it on. So I thought I would do a couple of posts on potential party looks to get into the festive spirit (well that’s a lie as I am feeling festive after putting the decorations up at work yesterday).

To me the perfect Christmas Party dress is not an over the top glitzy number (well not for me), but a dress which makes you feel fabulous regardless of when you wear it. However one way to instantly jazz your dress up is to add some snazzy tights!!
Bronze Metallic A Line Shift £35 River Island (also avaliable on ASOS).
House of Holland Super Suspender Tights £12 ASOS.

Black Lace Body Con Dress £38 Topshop.
House of Holland Star Tights £15 River Island (M+S also have some in for £12).

Leopard Print Tights £8.50 River Island (Topshop and New Look have similiar in for £8-8.50).
Gold Zig Zag Metallic Shift £28, River Island (also avaliable in silver).
Masie Dress £295 All Saints.
Snake Metallic Platform Heels £65 Topshop.
(Dress is made from leather so that will keep you warm)

I've got 5 yes 5 dresses to choose from for Friday night, I'll post on Friday what the options are, no doubt I won't decide until 10 minutes before I'm due to go out. Thats just how I roll.
