Recently I've been reviewing some of the John Frieda Full Repair range (see here, here and here) and the range has been very popular with the blogging community. I've noticed that with certain brands (namely haircare) products are released and its up to the consumer to "figure out" so to speak how to use/work with the product. Sometimes I think you will agree that we need a bit of a push in the right direction on how to use a product to its full potential, before we cast it aside and neglect it.

John Frieda have released a series of videos to coincide with their Full Repair range, which shows you how to achieve a particular hair style as well as showing you how to use their products. The video below shows you how to achieve the perfect beachy waves, and until I saw this video I honestly thought you squirted the Root Lift Foam into your hands and rubbed it into your hair. From watching the video you actually use the nozzle to direct the product straight into your root, and a little product goes a long way. I've since tried the product this way after watching the video and I do find that I get more volume in my hair.

What I like about John Frieda tutorials is that they also get the model to help produce the styles, to show the viewer that they themselves can easily achieve the same look. There's also a video to show you how to create a messy side bun, which would look fab for nights out. You can view that video here.
