Can you believe we’re already into April and the first Bank Holiday weekend of the year is upon us (woohoo). I haven’t really been in work this week, yesterday I was at a Benefit event in Middlesbrough with Tor which was fab, and today I’m having a cheeky half day at work. Over the last month I’ve been trying to use as many products up as I can, after my make up storage post freaked me out with the sheer amount of make up items I have, so by doing this I’ve managed to rediscover some old favourites and start to appreciate my make up tools.

First up the tools-
Primark Eye Lash Curlers- I’ve recently reviewed them here and I’ve really noticed a difference in how my mascara looks after using them. If you spy these next time your in Primark I would definitely recommend picking a pair up- they’re only a pound. Trust me you won’t be disappointed.

Real Techiques Stippling Brush- I don’t want to go into too much detail about this brush as I do have a review of it coming up shortly. You will all know that RT brushes have gathered cult status in the blogging community and I can confirm that the hype is justified. I know people use this to apply cream blush, however I personally find that this brush is absolutely brilliant at applying liquid foundation.

No7 Eyeshadow Blending Brush- This was mentioned in my March RayBox (see here), and I still can’t get over how brilliant this brush is. You may have seen the comparisons with the Mac 217 brush, and I would definitely choose this over Mac. I’ve actually got a review coming up with this, so keep your eyes peeled.

Chanel Coco Mademoiselle- This always used to be my “going out” perfume, and since being introduced to Versarce Crystal Noir and Illamasqua Freak, this perfume has been cast aside. Recently I’ve been reaching for this, and now I’ve finished my 100ml bottle (I’ve got a smaller bottle still). Its one of those scents which you just know its Chanel, and its going to be a perfume I continue to buy time and time again.

Accessorize Blush in Scandal- I’ve done a review of this here, and as of today I’ve officially used it all up. At this moment in time even though I love it, my new daily blusher is Vivo Peaches and Cream (the so called Stereo Rose dupe), so I won’t be repurchasing :(

17 Wild Metallic Eyes (Wild Bronze)- I initially bought this and Wild Nude after jumping on the band wagon and only used them twice. With the eyeshadow shades I normally use from my Sleek Storm Palette I’ve been incorporating wild bronze into my morning (very limited) make up routine in a similar way to which I use my Painterly Paint Pot. I’ve noticed since using this my eyeshadow is still put when I get in after the gym (a good 11 hours). I’ve also been using it on its own too if I want an extra 5 minutes in bed. A little goes a very long way.

ELF Cream Eyeliner (Black)- I prefer this to Mac Blacktrack for its staying power on nights out. I’ve recently been using this in conjunction with the Wild Bronze for a simple look. However if you like to wear liner on your waterline, I wouldn’t recommend this as it just doesn’t stay put- that’s where Blacktrack comes in (it doesn’t budge).

Max Factor False Effect Mascara- This used to be my HG mascara and I’m sure this is either my third or fourth tube. I’m trying to make more of a conscious effort to use my mascara’s up- I have far too many, and I’ve rediscovered why I used to love this. I normally use about 3 coats for that extra false effect- it doesn’t flake and lasts all day. Would I repurchase, not at this moment, purely due to the fact that I have a million other mascaras to use up.

Have some cheeky swatches-

On a side note I’m having some issues with this month’s blog buttons- fingers crossed I should be able to have all new buttons on the side bar later on today/tomorrow. Ooo and I’m getting eyelash extensions tomorrow- can’t wait.
