I'm such a bad blogger of late, I've got such a massive backlog of posts to write up starting with this very overdue post on the Simply Be store launch at the Metro Centre which I attended with Laura. The Gateshead store I think is very long overdue, and I couldn't help notice the amount of people saying how brilliant it is that Simply Be has finally opened in the Metro Centre. If you are a North East local the only SB store was at Teeside Park, which to people who live Newcastle way on is at least a 90 minute drive, which is a bit excessive.

Gemma Collins from TOWIE opened the store, and I have honestly never ever met such a lovely woman. Laura was wearing one of her dresses which Gemma had previously worn on an episode of TOWIE and as soon as Laura walked in Gemma was calling for Laura to come over and telling her how fabulous she looked. What I loved about the event was the fact that members of staff and Gemma were walking around talking to everyone and providing advice on what their favourite items of clothes were and how they would style outfits.

Simply Be clothes start from a size 12 and there were some fabulous maxi dresses in store which I wanted to try out but the queue for the changing rooms were massive. However I did manage to have a go on the magic mirror which I think needs to be rolled out across all clothing stores. The store itself is huge and all stock is spread out so you can definately see the products.

If you live in the North East I'd definately recommend having a look in store- you need to check out their bag range- oh my god!!
