Batiste Red Dry Shampoo* - £2.50 from Boots, Superdrug, Supermarkets.
Sometimes I think those with natural or like me dyed red hair when it comes to hair products we are completely excluded. Dry shampoo for many including myself is a staple in my hair care/colour maintaining routine and Batiste has always been my choice for dry shampoo- I've never used any other brand (why go for second best).
I know some people don't like the fact that when using regular dry shampoo they run the risk of leaving a white residue in their hair, however this is not a problem I've ever encountered. Most people prefer to use the coloured varieties for blonde and brown hair- this has never been an option for us red heads- until now. Yes Batiste has finally brought out a red version and as you can see its red alright.
Since using this over the last week I've found that this has been providing much needed cover for my pesky roots as well as cleaning/volumizing my hair. Batiste just needs to release this in a mini tin for nights out (hint hint). If you are a regular reader of the blog you will know that my darling brother likes to steal my dry shampoo... I think now he's learnt his lession as his blonde hair had lovely red patches in it the other day. I think I'm going to have to keep purchasing the red version so at least I know its not going to get stolen.
Fellow red heads- you need this in your life (and its currently on offer 2 for £4 in Boots).
