Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint - Lychee £3.99

If you ever want to make me a cup of tea and wonder how strong I like my "baby tea" look no further than Barry M's Gelly Polish in Lychee. This polish reminds me of milky tea for some reason and is the perfect nude polish for work. However I personally don't like the look on this polish on myself when I'm tanned - I don't know why but I wore this for FABB Manchester and I was really having a rant to Tor about it much to her amusement.

If you've read my review on Greenberry (link) you will know how much of a fan I am of this range of polishes and this is no different. In the swatches above I've used two coats however this is standard practise for me. As the polish is thicker than normal Barry M polishes you could get away with the one. Normally I use two coats and don't bother with a topcoat however for FABB Manchester I used a topcoat and this made very little difference to the over all shine of the polish. Normally this lasts a good 3-4 days before there is any tip wear, however with topcoat I think this actually only lasted a day before chipping - this may have had something to do with me picking my nails though.

I think if you are a fan of the mannequin look (ie your polish matches your skin colour) you will love this polish, however if you're on the fence about the whole nude trend I would advise that you steer clear of this.
