Laura Mercier Foundation Primer Radiance - £28 30ml

Primers - I normally have a love/hate relationship with them. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. I'm always hesitant about spending large amounts on money on higher end primers and ideally wish I could try sample sizes before splashing the cash. Luckily Laura Mercier have heard my cries for help and I received this in a beauty box last year. Unlike many other products on the market the Radiance Primer gives me the same effect as my Clairns Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch but just boosts my skin. Clue is in the title it makes it look radiant.

Personally I prefer to use this under days when I'm not wearing too much of a heavy face (ie light coverage/BB cream kinda days) as its like your skin but better. You can use this under more heavy foundations, however on nights out sometimes I feel like my face can be mistaken for being shiny/greasy instead of oozing radiance. The product itself does come out apricot however as you can see it doesn't translate onto the skin and would be ideal on any skin tone. Now this is pricey at £28 for a full size tube and even though I do like it, I couldn't spend that much on a product which doesn't knock my socks off. However if someone does want to buy me a tube - I won't say no.
