Elemis Skin Nourishing Hand and Body Lotion* - £6.90 (link)

If you look at my desk at work, you will notice one thing (not including the folder barricade I’ve made) – a collection of hand creams. Now to some this might seem excessive however due to the fact that the soap which is used in the dispensers at work dries your hands out like no other, a heavy duty hand cream is essential. If you are a regular reader of the blog you will already know that I am a massive fan of Elemis facial skincare, so this product had a lot to live up to from the outset.

Elemis kindly sponsored FABB Leeds way back last year and I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to write up the review considering I’ve nearly used up my tube. Normally for work I prefer using more lighter hand lotions as working on a computer/with lots of files I don’t want greasy hand marks all over it. Now ironically the Elemis Skin Nourishing Hand and Body Lotion is quite thick and more cream-like than lotion, however this absorbs straight into the skin.

What I love about this is the fact that its multipurpose –  I (rephrase that – team mates) use this for our hands, arms, and I’ve even used this on my stomach to help with peeling skin after my holiday. Also its ideal for sensitive skin, one of my colleagues has very sensitive skin and she’s been able to use this without causing any irritation. Even though the packaging states to use this morning and evening, I’ll use this numerous times throughout the day. The lotion contains concentrated Milk Protein and Camellia, Macadamia and Jojoba oils to nourish the skin – all natural goodness. As for scent – it has a soft floral scent which slightly lingers on the skin after application.

Again Elemis is onto a winner with this, and if you’re looking to treat yourself I’d recommend this. Next on the Elemis wish list is their Papaya Enzyme Peel – I’ve had this on my skin during a facial and its amazing!!
