MUA Blush Perfection dolly

Even though I have quite a collection of higher end blushes, I won’t use them for work. I don’t know why I do this, but that’s how I roll. Normally I’m a fan of baked blushes – Vivo and Accessorize being my brands of choice; however it appears that both brands have been discontinued. In my recent Superdrug haul I picked up a cream blush from MUA in the shade Dolly. Now I’m sure I saw this on an old video from Miss Budget Beauty and as there was only this shade in stock I picked it up.

It’s taken a few weeks for me to eventually click on to what the colour reminds me of and it is Mac’s cream blush in Something Special, and lo and behold I've already got this colour. In the pan they look almost identical, however the MUA version is more sheer, yet the colour is buildable. Personally I’m a big fan of MUA products for work and as they don’t break the bank – you can afford to have a splurge now and again.

Normally I apply this with my Real Techniques Stippling brush and a little goes a long way. For work I’ll wear this quite sheer, so by lunch you can’t really tell I’m wearing it. However if I do want to build the colour, this normally lasts all day (until I go to the gym). If the other cream blushes are like this, I definitely know what range I’ll be buying in future for work blushes. If you’re a fan of these cream blushes, let me know what colours you’d recommend.
