NARS Laguna Bronzer - £26 ASOS
Is it a crime to only own one NARS product? Until the other week all what I owned was Nepal eye shadow which I adore (its the perfect pink/nude eye shadow), however as I had some ASOS vouchers burning in my pocket and a 25% discount code, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to buy Laguna bronzer. I've never bought make up from ASOS before and I was nervous to see if it would get to me in one piece, and even though my parcel spent near enough a day behind the garden gate the bronzer is in one piece.
First up is the packaging - sleek and compact and looks expensive. At the moment the matte black case is still finger print free, however if you own any NARS products you will know how bad it picks up make up and finger prints. Plus there's a mirror inside - ideal for on the go touch ups. Onto the bronzer itself - yes it looks scary in the pan and far too dark for my skin. However don't judge a book by its cover - after swatching it, I realised that the colour is sheer and can be built up if needs be.
On my natural skin this does have the potential to look too dark, however all what I do is buff it into the skin with a different brush. When tanned this doubles up as a great contour as well as bronzer. Even though this has a slight shimmer running through it - it doesn't look too shimmery on the skin. As a fan of matte bronzers this has just about stole my heart - Vivo Baked Bronzer will always be my number one, however as that has been discontinued - Laguna is my new love. My new found love for NARS is going to be deadly on the bank balance, however I now want to try Sheer Glow. What products from NARS do you recommend? Leave me a comment letting me know - or tweet me.
