L'Oreal Telescopic Extra-Black Mascara
L'Oreal Telescopic Extra-Black Mascara

I don't know what I was expecting L’oreal Telescopic Masacara when I bought it, well that's a lie - I was expecting fully fledged miracles to be happening. From all the hype surrounding this mascara and everyone’s reviews I was honestly expecting long fluttery lashes. In reality was this the case? Nope. I’m trying so hard to like this mascara; however it’s been thrown somewhere in my third bedroom.

Where do I begin with this review? First up let’s talk about the brush – it’s plastic and stumpy. Not that much of a problem with me, as I prefer plastic brushes. However the main issue for me is the fact that the mascara is too wet for my liking. I’d go as far to say that it’s verging on black water – I don’t know if I’ve got a dodgy one. However the formula mixed with the brush is a disaster waiting to happen.

Instead of having long separated lashes, my lashes clump together to the extent I look like I’ve got three eyelashes. Really not a good look; however for some reason this doesn’t happen on the bottom lashes. I would say this is the blackest mascara I’ve ever had, and if the formula was a little bit thicker, or a different brush (or both) this would be a fab mascara. Considering the price is £10.99 I did expect a bit more from a higher end, drugstore product. However I am on a mission to make this work – hopefully it will thicken once the air has gotten to it, now that it’s open. Have any of you had similar experiences of this mascara?
