who is she blog, monthly favourites
Another month has been and gone, and as much as I would like to say that I’ve had a busy month trying new products, the truth is I’m still well and truly in lazy girl mode. Anything that makes me look half human has been a winner in my books, however there has been a few products which I’ve been reaching for over and over.

First up is Paul Mitchell’s Express Dry Shampoo*, the first dry shampoo which I've tried and doesn’t leave any residue in your hair. Reason being is the fact that it’s completely clear. I’ve got a proper review of this to come in the next few weeks; however this has to be one of the best dry shampoos I’ve ever used – worth the hype. Keeping up with the hair theme I've been using Aussie Leave in Conditioner after washing my hair. Now this is a very old bottle which I’ve come across since moving and as my hair is normally the first thing to suffer when I’m ill/stressed so I’ve been using this to attempt to keep my hair half decent.

May saw two of my work friends getting married, and for the wedding do I used St Tropez’s Darker than Dark mousse** - hands down the ultimate lazy girls’ tan. As a user of the regular St Tropez, I would say this version equates to about two layers of the normal mousse. Like regular St Tropez this lasts a good 4-5 days before it starts to fade, there’ll be a review of this up shortly from the wedding so you can see how dark I am. Nails of the month have been Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Polish is Passion Fruit – I’m obsessed with this colour, one coat for full opaqueness, simply brilliant. Review of this can be found here.

Following with the red (kinda) theme is Korres Lip Butter in Mango, which has been in my work bag for the majority of the month. For some reason I find that this is more soft in the tub than the Quince and Pomegranate ones, but regardless I love this for a tint of colour on the lips. I've done a full review here. Finally the product of the month - Liz Earle's Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion, a product which I've had for a while, yet only fully realised the full potential of this until a this month. Working on a computer all day, then working all night on the laptop, add stress and lack of sleep my eyes have been bag central. However this lotion has been making me feel half human on a morning (and night) - I use this before work and then when I'm in from work and it has been making me look awake. Normally I'll wet two cotton pads and press them against my eyes on a morning or I'll lie in the bath (or couch) with my eyes covered. Really recommend this -full review can be found here.
