A few Christmases ago, I received an "original" Links of London bracelet from the parents which to this day I still wear. By original I mean the metal links (see here), however I should have sized up as the medium nips my skin. A month ago I was contacted by Joshua James asking if I wanted to review a bracelet of my choice on here. Now this was no mean feat as due to the vast amount of brands which they stock, I found it very hard to narrow my choices down, until I spotted that they stocked Links of London.
I'll be honest the only real place I've ever spotted Links of London (and a limited selection at that) is in Fenwicks at Newcastle. Ever since getting my original sweetie bracelet I've been wanting one of their friendship bracelets (I believe it was when Cat Deeley was promoting the brand), so once I spotted their skinny friendship bracelets on the Joshua James site I was sold. As much as the black appealed to me, I thought I would inject a bit of colour onto my arm by getting the pale blue, completely forgetting that I am partial to a coat or two of fake tan.
This friendship bracelet is definitely made of sturdy stuff, there has been no fake tan transfer and it looks as good as new, considering I've been wearing this non-stop including gym trips, house cleaning and whilst at work. As these are unisex, this would make a brilliant Christmas present for a loved one or a friend. You'll see how I wear mine in a few posts time in my outfit from FABB Birmingham,
