Cheryl StormFlower Eau De Parfum* (30ml) - £23.95

When it comes to perfumes for nights out - I will always stick to the same old fragrances, yet when it comes to daytime (or as I call them work) fragrances, I'm always on the look out for a new scent. Over the last few weeks, my go to work scent has been courtesy of a local hero Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and her debut fragrance StormFlower. I think when it comes to fragrances, literally from the first use of a perfume, you know whether you will either love it or hate it.

As soon as I used this, the first thing which came to my mind, was that it reminds me of a very popular conditioner scent - mainly due to the overwhelming peach blossom notes. Personally I like fragrances which are quite strong and will last throughout the day. StormFlower isn't as strong as the perfumes I'm used too, so I normally will reapply at lunchtime. Onto the fragrance itself, the top notes are mandarin and nectarine, with middle notes of freesia and peach blossom.

To be honest I'm not that good in describing fragrances, however all what I can say is that this perfume smells amazing, and is very affordable for a celebrity fragrance. As you can see in the photo above, the actual dress which Cheryl wore in the advertising campaign is currently on display in Debenhams (ground floor entrance) at the Metro Centre (Gateshead). Ignore my reflection in the glass case, however this dress is a beaut and if you're in the Metro, definitely go and check it out.
