Unless any products completely overwhelm me in December, November favourites will be the last monthly favourites of 2014, as next month there will be the best of 2014. November for me has been an amazing month to try new products and become aware of more and more brands - to an extent thanked by FABB Birmingham. Tom Ford Velvet Orchid perfume really should have made an appearance in last month's favourites as well as this months,as this has been my go to fragrance outside of work. Velvet Orchid is the lighter floral version of Black Orchid, and even though the fragrance smells nothing like Black Orchid, you instantly know that it's Tom Ford. I'll be doing a full review on this soon.
If I didn't need another reason to hate the village which I live, the water is completely ruining my hair. I've rarely suffered from frizzy hair and as soon as I wash my ombre after being to the hairdressers my hair goes yellow/orange. L'Oreal's Expert Silver Shampoo has been a lifesaver in getting my ashy blonde ombre back - normally I lather this into the ends of my hair, leave for up to 10 minutes and then rinse. Jobs a good un - I really recommend this. Onto the make up from Mac's Arena eye shadow is hands down the perfect neutral eye shadow for the no make up make up looks. Paired with lots of mascara thanks to Fashionista's The Double Collection mascara - this has been my go to work and out and about look. I've done reviews on both here and here.
Touch wood I've had a good skin month throughout November and two products which I need to thank are Kiehl's Ultra Facial Toner and Dermalogica's Daily Microfoliant*, both of which I have been using religiously. I don't really want to rave too much about the Daily Microfoliant, however this has been amazing in keeping any dry skin at bay on my face, and this also works well in getting rid of fake tan stains on your knuckles.
Finally at FABB Birmingham, I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Elijah Choo, the founder of Bodhi and Birch. Since FABB I've been feeling like I'm about to come down with a cold and every time I'm in the bath, I've been reaching for their Mint The Bath and Shower Therapy* which really helps wake me up and helps me breathe more clearly. Again, like the reoccurring theme in this post - I'll be reviewing this shortly on the blog.
