And God Created The Woman Palette - £35 // Radiant Creamy Concealer - £22 - Nars
I love a good plan - a woman with a plan, the plan was to buy Charlotte Tilbury's Dolce Vita palette, however after swatching the palette while in Selfridges, common sense hit in and I knew I wouldn't get much use out of it. If you saw last weeks' post (link) you will know how much I love Nars Nepal eye shadow, however I've really over looked Nars make up products. By chance one night I ended up on the Nars website looking at palettes and spied that they still has their And God Created The Woman palette. Now unless you've been living under a rock you will know the hype from fellow bloggers about this palette.
Now £35 for a palette is excessive, however considering you're getting six shades which can take you from day to night, this is less than the Dolce Vita palette which contains only four shadows. However this palette comes with a mini eye shadow primer (which is amazing) and a mini blending brush which would be ideal for a night out. I don't want to go into too much detail about the shadows etc as I am going to do a separate review on this along with swatches, however the pigmentation and lasting power of these are second to none.
Finally I thought it was time to buy into the blogger hype surrounding their Radiant Creamy Concealer and again I am really impressed with this. On first impressions I thought this may be similar to my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, however it's nothing like this. I’m finding it really hard to describe, as it’s similar to Collection with the coverage and formula, yet this blends seamlessly into the skin and lasts for hours.
I bought this in the colour vanilla, as this is what came up in matches for both my tanned and natural skin tones (MAC NW25 and NW15-20) and I have to admit I am impressed with how well this blends in with both skin tones. This is slightly and I mean slightly lighter than my tanned skin, yet surprising looks natural on the skin. Based on first impressions I’m in love. Are you a fan of Nars? What products should I try next?
