Now MAC sold this to me as a "brand new" mascara which has just launched, however a quick Google search, shows that this actually isn't the case. Normally I avoid MAC mascara's like the plague as quite simply, I just think they produce crap mascaras. As I'm working two jobs, I'm starting to find that my eyes are getting agitated very easily - probably due to being tired and I've been on the look out for a new more sensitive mascara and on a whim after chatting online to MAC their Mineralize Multi Effect Lash Mascara which is aimed towards those who have sensitive eyes.

Personally I think the main advantage with this, is the fact that it can easily be removed with just water. Not so good when you have a crying fit at work (or just in general) - however that's just one of those things. The mascara contains a 77 mineral complex which helps keep your lashes soft, flexible and separate - the mascara does live up to these claims. My lashes don't feel crispy, nor do they clump together. Unlike the other mascaras which I have tried from MAC this is the driest formula I've used and personally the best, also its a normal fibre brush instead of a plastic wand, which allows better application.

If you're looking for a mascara which gives you volume, don't give this a second glance. I'd say that this gives length, however I have fairly long eye lashes anyway. I wouldn't recommend this for a night out mascara, or a mascara which you want to give your lashes impact. For me this is more of a work/day time mascara and a mascara I would only recommend if you have sensitive eyes and are yet to try a MAC mascara. However it appears that MAC are now doing travel sized versions of their mascaras, which may be worth buying to try the range if you don't want to commit to a full sized version. Although I'll be using this up and avoid MAC mascara's like the plague. Are you a fan of MAC mascaras?
