Normally Friday's at work mean one thing - dial a cake delivery aka Sweet Tooth Delivery. Now as I've moved offices I've been missing out on the cake related fun, however this didn't stop me calling in for cake yesterday for my cheat meal. Before I go any further, I didn't have the two, one was for the brother (and testing purposes obviously). If you're from Durham and haven't heard of Sweet Tooth Delivery, where have you been hiding? It's hidden in Dragonville Industrial Estate and as well as being able to go into the shop to pick your goodies, they also deliver via their cake ambulance. Oh yeah.
I'm sure the opening hours have now been extended, which is ideal if you have cake cravings. Normally I order their peanut butter fudge cake, however after Marie had their peanut butter cheesewedge, I've only ordered them since. A word of warning with these cakes is that they give you massive portions - I can only manage half before having to put it away in the fridge and to nurse my food baby. As I think this is the first time this year I've been to Sweet Tooth, I had to pick up their peanut butter cheesewedge for me, and a kinder bueno one for my brother. If you collect your cakes in store there are normally special offers on - I got these both for £5.
Anything peanut butter is a winner with me and you can really taste the peanut butter throughout it. The bueno one was lush, however you didn't really taste much of the hazelnut in it - regardless it was a winner with me and the brother, and I'd happily buy it again. To be honest who am I kidding - I'd happily buy one of everything on the menu. If you have a cake craving and live in/around Durham I honestly can't recommend Sweet Tooth Delivery enough. I actually could be tempted to go out and get some more now.., Have you been to Sweet Tooth Delivery before?
