Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Papaya // Rimmel 60 Seconds in Coralicious // Models Own Coral Reef // Barry M Coral // Maybelline Colour Show in Orange Attack

As it's a scorcher of a day today in the North East, I felt the need that a summery post was needed on here today. Personally I find that only a few nail polish colours can work on both your fingers and toes and any shade of coral has to be one of them. Even though I have a drawer full of nail polish (I may do a separate post on this soon), I always seem to reach for the same polishes. I am a creature of habit. However now that the sun’s out, it’s time to reach for the coral polishes and today I’ll share with you my all-time favourites.
I might as well start with the polish which out of all of these is the one you will probably have seen me rave about on numerous occasions and that is Barry M’s Gelly Hi Shine in Papaya. I’ve already done an in-depth review on this here, however this to me screams summer in a bottle. As you can see on the photos this leans more towards the orange spectrum, however all what you need is one coat for it to be fully opaque (and you don’t need a topcoat). The only downside with this polish is that after a few days on your nails it starts to look dirty. However for a night out, this doesn’t really bother me. Rimmel 60 Seconds in Coralicious and Maybelline Colour Show in Orange Attack are recent additions to my collection. I've got individual reviews on these coming soon, however again I think both have more of a red undertone, rather than orange. I may have swiped Orange Attack from Strat Attack on my leaving do, so only had this for just over a month, however it's never been off my toes.

If you are looking for more of an in your face coral, Barry M Nail Paint in Coral is the polish for you. I really should have placed this next to the other shades of polish, as this looks too red in the photos, however I can assure you that out of all these polishes this is a true coral shade. Ideally with this polish you do need two coats for it to be fully opaque, however unlike other Barry M nail paints, I'd recommend wearing a top coat as you will find that if you run your nails over paper or surfaces the colour will transfer.

Last but no means least would be the ultimate lazy girls coral polish - Models Own Coral Reef. Again I've done a review on this here, however this polish is everything which you would come to expect with a Models Own polish. Quick drying - check, fully opaque in one coat - check, bright colour - check, lasts near enough a week without chipping - check. As much as I love Papaya - I would recommend Coral Reef if you are looking to spending the money on one nail polish. What are your favourite coral polishes, do I need to add any more coral polishes to the collection?
