I feel like I'm stuck in a bit of a rut when it comes to my blusher choices - nine times out of ten it seems that my blushers are either pink or peach, yet I'll only ever reach for MAC Melba. In order to try and step out of my comfort zone I've been reaching for Urban Decay's Afterglow 8 Hour Blush in the shade Rapture, Believe it or not this is my first ever Urban Decay product and I have to say I'm impressed with this,

Rapture can be described as a a neutral mauve with a slight shimmer - normally I would say that this colour would be ideal for Autumn/Winter, however I think the slight shimmer makes this wearable in the Summer (what Summer, I know). Personally I'm not a fan of shimmer blushers for nights out, I prefer to wear matte powders. However I have been reaching for this near enough every time I'm tanned.

Personally I prefer to wear this on tanned skin as it looks more of a lighter, even dare I say it a highlight shade on me. However this is easily buildable into a more vibrant shade. I would say that this lasts near enough a full day at work which is over the 8 hours, however this depends which office I'm in. The office which has the air con blasting - definitely lasts more than 8 hours, the office which is like a sauna - this is long gone before the end of the day. For £19 this is more of a treat purchase, however I think this has now given me the Urban Decay bug. What products do you recommend from Urban Decay?
