Honestly this year is flying over far too quickly - why can't time not slow down. August was the month when I was fully in decorating mode (check out the wall) - decorating mode means one thing, my house is a complete and utter tip. Considering it's the 5th September, my second bedroom is still housing half my beauty products - I need to get my act together and sort stuff out. Anyway this month as you can see there's a good mix of products which I've been loving - first up is Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect mascara. Pair this with their Lash Base Primer and it's a match made in heaven - I knew my eyelashes were long, however this just makes them look even longer. Best thing is it's less than £3.
However if your lashes are short and want to give them some tlc, I've been religiously using Lipocils Eyelash Growth Enhancer which I picked up from eBay for less than £5. This can also be used on your brows and honestly my brows over the last month have grown like wildfire - it was even commented on when I got my brows done the other week. If you are a regular reader of the blog you will know how much I love my dark fake tan aka the ultimate lazy girl tan. One of my favourite high street tan is NKD:SKN from Vita Liberata - honestly this gives a fab olive based natural looking tan which lasts a good week before fading. Hands down one of the best tans I've ever used - however I find that the medium version of this is also dark, so bear that in mind when buying.
Onto the eyes and I've rediscovered an old favourite - Chanel Illusion D'Ombre in Emerveille the ultimate pink/champagne/peach cream eye shadow. This on the lid, loads of mascara and you're good to go. Initially I wasn't going to include Redken Extreme Anti-Snap Leave In Treatment, however I have been using it every time I've washed my hair and initially thought that my hair is in better condition. However it wasn't until my hairdresser commented on the fact that the snapped areas are starting to grow back and there's no new damage it has to be down to this. I've done a full review on this (link), but it's now going to be a staple from now on in my hair care routine.
We're on the home straight now - Bioderma Hydrabio Rich Moisturising Cream, has been a godsend this month. I don't know what has happened with my skin, however it's been dry and tight. The only cream which can break through the driest of skins - a full review will be on here soon. Finally B. Balenciaga rollerball has been the perfume I've been wearing for most of the month. As you can see it doesn't look like I've used much, however this lasts the entire day. If you're a fan of floral perfumes you will love this - a full review can be found here. What has been your favourites over the last month - leave me a comment and let me know.
