After watching Miss Budget Beauty's last monthly favourites video, it struck a chord with me that as much as I love sharing with you what products I've loved over the last month - I don't feel like I'm being as honest as sharing my favourites with you. I want to be able to share with you what I'm loving as and when I decide that I love it. Take for example one of this month's favourites - Jo Malone's Pomegranate Noir Cologne, which was bought a few days before the end of August. Even though I'd had this for a few days after wanting this for a while, I wanted to include this in my monthly favourites, yet decided against it thinking that it wasn't a true representation of what I'd been loving throughout the month. Therefore after this, I'll be posting "Currently Loving" posts instead of monthly favourites - these may be weekly, monthly, once and never to be seen again. Anyway that was a long winded introduction to the last ever Monthly Favourites Post.
You will have already seen Nip + Fab Dragon's Blood Fix Plumping Serum in a New In post (link here) and I have to say this has made a massive impact on my skin since using it. Add in Clarins Beauty Flash Balm and it's a match made in heaven. If you suffer from dry, dull, shallow skin - use the Dragon's Blood Fix Plumping Serum first on the skin and then apply a thin layer of the Beauty Flash Balm, leave it for a good 10 mins or so and then apply your usual night time moisturiser. Honestly my skin has never looked better and it's all thanks to these two products. I know Beauty Flash Balm isn't intended to be used as a moisturiser, however I would definitely recommend it.
Keeping up with the skin care theme, my skin has also been drinking up Neal's Yard White Tea Facial Mist, which is ironic considering it's a hydrating facial mist. I've actually been reaching for this more often than not after a work out and I've found that it's really helped to keep my skin clear (coming from the lass who has just broken out - shhhh). If you're on the lookout for an affordable facial mist, look no further than this.
Finally there is no excuses for my Tweezerman tweezers* to be pinched by members of my family and friends as my new slanted tweezers have my name on them. Yes my name in all it's glory on a pair of tweezers. If you read the blog you know how much of a fan of the Tweezerman range I am, however as much as I love my mini tweezers, I've found that I've been reaching for these more. Hands down one of the products which totally lives up to the hype. So there we go, the last ever Monthly Favourites post - the Currently Loving posts will be in exactly the same format, so there won't be too much of a change around here. Let me know what products you have been loving recently.
