Seventeen Cheek Stamp - £4.99 //  Seventeen Falsifeye HD Mascara - £6.99 // Essence Make me Brow - £2.50 // Collection 7 Day Wear Nail Polish Bear Nude - £1.99 // Seche Vite - £5 (eBay)

I don't know how it happened - but it did. Considering I was supposed to be trying to cut down on my spending this kinda happened. In my defence however, this did come to just less than £20 (the blusher was a free gift). Anyway as my beloved work mascara aka Seventeen's Backlash Mascara, I thought that it was about time to try another mascara from the brand and as there's been a lot of hype surrounding their Seventeen Falsifeye HD Mascara I thought I would pick one up. At the moment I'm on the fence with this one - I do like it, however I feel that it needs to dry out a little bit.

Boots had an offer on to receive a free Seventeen Cheek Stamp with any purchase over £5 and I picked up the shade "The Cheek of It". As you can see this is a rose/taupe shade which would be ideal for work - at the moment I've only used this a couple of times and as nice as it is, it really doesn't have take some work to get this to show on the skin. However in all fairness I don't really want to be wearing in your face blusher for work - so I'm happy with this. I'll do a full review with swatches on this once I've used it some more.

None of my local Essence stands have had space for their Benefit Gimmie Brow dupe aka Make Me Brow, however while shopping in Newcastle I spotted this in Wilkinson's and instantly had to pick this up. Plus for £2.50 it would be rude not too. I've used this a couple of times and I find that it works better if I've used a powder on my brows beforehand, not so much if I've used a pencil. However now that I think I have managed to get hold of near enough all the brow gels from the drugstore which I want for a comparison post - just need to grab some sunlight to get some photos done - first world blogger problems there.

After going through a nail painting hiatus over the last few months, I'm finally back in the swing of painting my nails. I don't know if its due to the lack of polish on my nails but I've finally got strong long nails again. Since buying Collection's 7 Day Wear Nail Polish in Bear Nude, this has been constantly on my nails (altering with Essie Fiji). If you are looking for a wearable nude for both work and for a night out look no further than this. I always use Seche Vite with my polishes and this makes any polish look like a gel manicure and it lasts for a good 5-7 days without chipping. What products have you been buying recently?
