I know exactly what you're thinking - where's the first haul at, and you do have a valid point, however I thought I'd taken the photos for the first haul, but I hadn't. Plus considering I leave the house in the dark and come home in the dark there's no time until the Christmas break to take photos, so you're having the second haul first.
Anyway back in September my darling Angela went to Florida and kindly brought me some bits and bobs back. Obviously the one thing I was most excited about was the Harry Potter mug - if you are a regular reader of the blog you know how much I love anything to do with Harry Potter (plus it came in a Harry Potter carrier bag - need I say anything else on the matter. You'll see in the first haul that the products I mainly received from Michelle's trip was from Sephora, however for this haul I wanted more drugstore products which you can't get over here, which then resulted in a Maybelline love in.
There's a whole lotta hype around Anastasia Beverley Hills products and I needed to get a back up of my Brow Whiz in Medium Brown - hands down this is the one product this year which has changed my brow game. I also thought it was about time I tried their Dip Brow Pomade again in Medium Brown. Both of these are available from Cult Beauty, however I managed to get a Sephora bag (#bloggergoals).
From Wallgreens, Angela was able to pick me up one of Maybelline's Define A Brow pencil in Medium Brown, which I was hoping would be a dupe for the ABH Brow Whiz. Even though this is medium brown it is far too light and warm toned, however I do want to give this more of a try before I do a comparison post. Next up is Maybelline's Face Studio Master Concealer in Fair, again this is supposed to be a dupe of Make Up For Ever's HD Concealer, however I thought as this is not available in the UK, I could use this for work. Now considering the shade is fair, you would think that this would be pale - nope it's anything but. It's very yellow toned which doesn't work on my natural paler than pale skin. However the coverage is full cover and it's definitely a product which I will get to work.
Finally I have a shade in their Instant Age Rewind Concealer other than Light or Medium (the only two shades available in the UK) and picked up this in their Brightener shade. On natural or tanned skin this product instantly brightens up under my eyes and makes me look like I've had a decent nights sleep. It's a shame that Maybelline won't release this in the UK, however this is the way with many of their products. I'll be doing a full review on this shortly - however if you can get your hands on this do it (and get a back up for me).
