Label_M_Volume_Mousse_Who_is_She_Blog

If you are a regular reader of the blog you will know how much of a fan of Label M I am. Their Blow Out Spray (review here) is one of my holy grail hair products, so I was far too excited to try another product from the range - their Volume Mousse. If you mentioned the word mousse to me, instantly it would bring back memories of me using far too much of my Mam's mousse resulting in crispy hair. Since then I've avoided mousse like the plague and preferred to use sprays in my hair to achieve volume.

As my hair is quite fine, but I have a hell of a lot of it (currently sporting the dragged through a hedge backwards look as I type), I have to be very careful with what products I use on my hair as it can make my hair lank and dull. Unlike traditional cans of mousse, Label.M's version has a tiny dispenser, which means that you only get a small amount of product when you apply it to your hair. Also thanks to this, you can apply it direct onto your roots as the car dispenses hardly no product, which is ideal for people with thin/fine hair, however this could be a bit of a pain for others.

Normally I will towel dry my hair, apply this and then go through it with a tangle teezer before drying. The Volume Mousse does give my hair volume, however it makes my hair very knotted once my hair is dry. Literally to the extent that I can't even get a tangle teezer through it - as I've suffered from some breakage due to tying my hair back too tight, I personally don't want to cause any more damage by pulling a brush through my hair.

If your hair is in good condition and you want volume, I'd recommend this too you, however if your hair is damaged or prone to snapping I won't suggest this. If you are a fan of Label.M products - Hairtrade stock the range for the lowest amount I've found it both online and in store (and the travel sizes too). What products do you use to achieve volume in your hair?
