As much as I get a sense of achievement when I publish an empties post, knowing that I'm getting through products, I really don't enjoy writing them and I feel like that feature has had it's time. However I do feel that by having some sort of feature on here will still continue to motivate me to use products up, but I didn't want to solely focus on make up as you will know I wear very little for work on a daily basis. Therefore starting from today, I'm going to be doing a Project Ten series, which will encompass using up 10 beauty products - which can be anything at all beauty related.

If I'm honest quite a few products which I am using at the moment is literally coming to an end and I could have easily picked them to use up first, however it wouldn't be a challenge without trying to push myself to use up things which don't seem to be going down. After having a quick look through my mounds of beauty products, I've chosen items which could easily be used on a daily basis, so really there is no excuse to get through these products.

For skincare I've picked Hydraluron Moisture Jelly, Clarins Gentle Exfoliator and REN Microbead Purifying Facial Polish. All products which I have bought due to blogger hype and products which I'll be perfectly honest with you, I don't rate in the slightest. This may change the more I use them, however I want these using up. I'm pretty happy with my perfume collection, however for my new work scent I'm going to use up Marc Jacobs Honey which I have in a 100ml size. As much as I like this scent, I really should have bought the 30ml or 50ml size.

Haircare I've picked two products which make my hair greasy quite quickly - a bit of a bizarre duo, I know, however there is method in the madness. The days when I'm at the gym or working out consecutively I'll be using Redken's Color Extend Magnetics Shampoo and then Elnett Volume Heat Protector as my hair will be getting washed the next day, The times where there will be a couple of days between washes I can use other shampoos and heat protectors in my collection,

Finally onto beauty and three out of the four products I've chosen I know I would probably wear for work. First up is Mac Refined Golden Bronzer - a bronzer I used to go through like no-one's business once upon a time. However for some reason, this one isn't that pigmented and feels like when you apply it, you're seeing no colour. Therefore this may be a good bronzer to use on my natural paler than pale skin to make me look half awake at 8am on a morning. I still love my Smashbox Brow Tech pen, however Anastasia Beverly Hills has taken over my heart for the best brow products, so the Brow Tech needs to go and will be ideal to use for work.

Even through there was so much hype surrounding Bourjois 1 Second Volume Mascara, I'm really not a fan. I find that the mascara far too wet for my liking. However as a work mascara, it's good enough for me to use. Finally is a product which I used to near enough cake on my face over my foundation for a night out Mac MSFN in Medium Plus. I think this will be more of a powder to use when I'm tanned, but I'm going to try and make this work even if it's for a contour shade. I actually love this powder and I'll be repurchasing at some point, but it will be in a lighter shade.

I'll report on how I get on with using these up, and once one product gets used up another product will be taking it's place. Lets see how I do with these first, Are you a fan of empties or project 10 pan? Let me know if you're doing a similar challenge.
