Considering how beauty obsessed us from the UK are, I always find it weird that brands only do value sets at Christmas. Why can't they not take inspiration from their American counterparts and have them all year round. Hats off to Sephora, they constantly are updating their site with value sets, which actually are of value. It gives you the opportunity to try new products without having to shell out for full size products, plus the smaller sizers of products are ideal for travel too. Over the last two years I've really gotten into Tarte products - their blushers are amazing, eye shadows are pigmented and their Lights, Camera, Lashes is one of my holy grail mascaras.

Unfortuately in the UK trying to get your hands on Tarte without having to pay extortionate prices (QVC Beauty I'm talking about you), is via their website which now ships to the UK and when friends (aka Angela the enabler) goes to Florida and is willing to go to Sephora for you. I've always wanted to try their skincare, however their Hydration Vacation Skincare Travel Set has enabled me to try four of their products from their successful Rainforest of the Sea range for less than £30. I've had their RotS concealer in my Sephora wishlist since it was released and was about to pick it up in New York but I ended up putting it back.

The core of this range is ensuring that your skin is hydrated, and contains Tarte's antioxidant RotS complex. Through this set I've managed to find some new favourites and a product which I would have purchased full price but now won't. First up in the set, which isn't pictured is a pair of their pack your bags 911 under eye rescue patches. These are ideal for getting rid of puffy eyes in a morning and actually making you look like you've had a decent night's sleep. I really enjoyed using this, however personally I prefer the Sephora Collection eye masks and would rather buy those than this.

Next up is another disappointment, is their deep dive cleansing gel - I really had high hopes for this and would have happily bought a full size of this, however it doesn't remove make up at all, and after using it my skin feels dry and tight (not in a super clean way neither). The scent of this also reminds me of Cif - another reason not to repurchase. However it's not all negative from me their 4-in-1 setting mist is a winner from me and the star of the set. It reminds me of a cross between Mac Fix+ and Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist, and can be used as both a toner, a skin refreshing and a setting spray for your make up. Also something which I know you fellow beauty junkies will appreciate is the fact that it has just the right amount of spray.

Finally the drink of H2O hydrating boost moisturiser does exactly what it says on the jar - a thick, quick absorbing moisturiser which doesn't leave any greasy residue on your skin. Also the fact that it has little to no scent is a deal breaker for me. There are other moisturisers which I own, which I prefer, however I could potentially buy a full sized jar. It appears that this set is pretty much sold out online, however keep an eye out on both the Tarte and Sephora sites because if you can get your hands on it. it's definitely worth the money
